Duffs Company (E) of the 37th Regiment Virginia Volunteers, born in Rusell County in the State of Virginia, aged seventeen years, five feet, five inches high, Fair complexion, Blue eyes, Light hair, and by occupation a farmer was enlisted by Capt. John F. McElhenny at Lebanon Russell Co Va on the 19th day of March 1862, to serve three years, and is now entitled to discharge by reason of a Surgeon's Certificate of Disability.
