The records show that Robt. Mutter, 2d Corporal, Company K, 22d Regiment Virginia Cavalry, C. S. A., enlisted August 1, 1863, to serve three years. His name is last borne on muster roll dated October 31, 1863 (subsequent rolls on file covering period to December, 1864), which shows him present. No further record of him has been found.
