Card 6 CERTIFICATE OF DISABILITY FOR DISCHARGE Charles C. Rasnack, of Captain Charles E. Stevenson's Company, (A,) of the ______ Regiment of Confederate States Cavly, was enlisted by Chas. E. Stevenson, of the ______ Regiment of Cavalry at Lebanon Va on the fifth day of August 1863, to serve three years, he was born in Russell Cty in the State of Virginia, is thirty years of age, five feet, 10 inches high, light complexion, Blue eyes, light hair, and by occupation when enlisted a farmer. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days. STATION: Camp near Salem, Va DATE: 23rd Jany 1863 Chas. E. Stevenson, Capt. Commanding Company. I CERTIFY, that I have carefully examined the said Chas. C. Rasnick of Captain Stevensons Company, and find him incapable of performing the duties of a soldier because of Rheumatism I therefore recommend that he be discharged from military duty. E. W.
