G. W. Seacatt, a Private, of Captain Duff's Company (C,) of the thirty seventh Regiment Virginia Volunteers, [remainder of section blank]

I CERTIFY, that I have carefully examined the said G. W. Seacatt, a Private of Captain Duff's Company, and find him incapable of performing the duties of a soldier because of Chronic inflammation of the left knee, the sequel of a rupture of the tendon of the Triceps extensor Gravis at its intersection into the Patella caused by a fall last January, which will diable him for at least a year & not improbably for life.

I CERTIFY, That the within named George W. Seacatt a Private of Captain John V. Duff's Company (C) of the 37th Regiment of Va. Vols., born in Pulaski Co. in the State of Virginia, aged 19 years, 5 feet 8 inches high, Fair complexion, Blue eyes, Light hair, and by occupation a waggon maker was enlisted by Capt. John F. McElhenny at Lebanon, Va on the 10th day of May, 1862 to serve one year, and is now entitled to discharge by reason of Disability.

The said George W. Seacatt was last paid by Capt. Haller to include the 31st day of October, 1862 and has pay due from that date to the present date.
There is due him One Hundred & fifty Eight Dollars & Ninety Six Cts.

Given in duplicate at Richmond, this 19th day of June 1862.
