CERTIFICATE OF DISABILITY FOR DISCHARGE.

James H. Hughes a Private, of Captain Geo. W. Ahl's Indpt Battery of Heavy Artillery Del. Vols. was enlisted by Captain Geo. W. Ahl of Ahl's Battery of Del. Vols at Fort Delaware Del on the Fifteenth day of July 1863, to serve Three years; he was born in Pulaski county in the State of Virginia [...] years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, Fair complexion, Hazel eyes, Auburn hair, and by occupation when enlisted a Farmer. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 25 days.

I CERTIFY, that I have carefully examined the said James H. Hughes of Captain Geo. W.
