Kelly Letters Civil War Letters of Russell County
Stonewall Cemetery is part of the larger Mt. Hebron Cemetery in downtown Winchester.

This is the Virginia Monument.

Charles Kelly is buried in the last row of the Virginia section, a few graves from the end.

The tombstone is incorrect, Charles Kelly did not die at Brucetown in 1862. The stones were put up at a later date and some of the soldiers were moved from other sites. At some point the error was made. In all likelyhood, Charles Kelly died at the Second Battle of Winchester.
