The records show that Ezekiel Counts, private, 1st Co. E., 21st Virginia Cavalry, C. S. A., enlisted March 28, ----, at Sand Lick. On the only muster roll of the company on file, one dated August 31, 1863, he was reported present. No later record of him has been found.
