CERTIFICATE OF DISABILITY FOR DISCHARGE.

McDaniel Fraily of Captain Jno. F. McElhenny Company (C) of the 37th Va. Regt. of Confederate States of America was enlisted by Capt. Jno. F. McElhenny of the county of Russell Va., at Lebanon on the 10th day of May, 1861, to serve one year; he was born in Russell County, in the State of Virginia, is twenty one years of age, six feet ____ inches high, fair complexion, Blue eyes, light hair, and by occcupation when enlisted a [...]sawyer.

I CERTIFY, that I have carefully examined the said Private McDaniel Fraley, of Capt. _____ Company, and find him incapable of performing the duties of a soldier because of Inquinal hernia of the right side. I therefore recommend that the said Private be discharged from the service of the Confederate States.
