I CERTIFY, That the within named Anthony Malaspina, a private of Captain T. J. Smith's Company (I) of the 37th Regiment of Va Vols, born in The District of Lyons, in France, aged 35 years, 5 feet, ___ inches high, dark complexion, black, eyes, dark hair, and by occupation a laborer, was enlisted by Capt. Robt. E. Cowan, at Camp Barton on the 1st day of November, 1861, to serve till the 2nd may 1862 and is now entitled to discharge be reason of his being a nonresident of the Confederate States.
